23 décembre 2008 - Face à l’épidémie de choléra qui aurait déjà fait près de 1 200 morts, Médecins du Monde a renforcé son équipe locale avec l’arrivée d’une équipe d’urgence à Chipinge. L’association est en charge de la coordination médicale de tout le district de Chipinge, qui compte 300 000 habitants .
Tuesday 23 September 2008 - MDM’s photographer attacked and now denied the right to photograph
Athens, September 8th, 2008. After the attack, the beating-up and the arrest of the French photographer, Olivier Jobard, by the Patras Port Authorities in July, where he was in a MDM mission to photograph undocumented immigrants, the recent refusal from the Government’s General Secretariat of Information to authorise him to continue his photographic mission in our country attempts to “silence” Médecins du Monde’s work on this vulnerable group.

21 February 2008 - Following eight months of training health staff in Bani Kayes district, on 18 February Médecins du Monde began distributing medical supplies to seven healthcare units in the district. Friday 25 August 2006 - South Lebanon: findings from the field
Following the cease-fire, Médecins du Monde is continuing the activities it began during the conflict. An assessment of health needs has been conducted in the south of the country, which is currently facing a massive return of displaced people. MdM has also begun medical activities there.
Wednesday 02 August 2006 - Middle East: an update on the Lebanon crisis
The current Lebanese crisis, where Médecins du Monde has sent emergency teams, should not overshadow the critical situation faced by those living in the Gaza Strip.
